Scout24 has launched a conversational AI assistant powered by GPT-5 to reimagine how users search for real estate properties, according to OpenAI.

The new system moves beyond traditional keyword-based search by engaging users in interactive conversations. According to the announcement, the assistant guides property seekers through clarifying questions, generates summaries, and provides tailored listing recommendations based on individual preferences.

This represents one of the first publicly announced commercial applications of GPT-5, OpenAI’s latest language model. The implementation aims to make property search more intuitive by allowing users to describe their needs in natural language rather than filtering through predetermined categories.

Scout24, a major European digital marketplace for real estate and automotive classifieds, is positioning this as “the next generation of real-estate search.” The conversational approach could particularly benefit users who are uncertain about their exact requirements or unfamiliar with real estate terminology.
