Amazon Web Services has announced the availability of global cross-Region inference (CRIS) for Anthropic’s Claude models through Amazon Bedrock in multiple new markets, according to two AWS blog posts.
The expansion covers seven countries across two regions:
Asia-Pacific: Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Taiwan now have access to the latest Claude Opus, Sonnet, and Haiku models through the global cross-Region inference feature, according to the AWS announcement.
Middle East: Customers in the UAE and Bahrain can now access Claude Opus 4.6, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.5, Claude Sonnet 4.5, and Claude Haiku 4.5 through Amazon Bedrock’s global cross-Region inference, according to AWS.
According to the AWS posts, the announcements include technical implementation guidance and quota management best practices for maximizing AI inference deployments.
