Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Now Supports Infrastructure as Code Deployment

According to Amazon AWS AI, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore services now support deployment through multiple Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks, including AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK), Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation Templates.

This integration allows developers to provision, configure, and manage their AI agents using IaC tooling directly with AgentCore. The announcement indicates that the addition brings “the power of IaC directly to AgentCore,” enabling more streamlined development workflows.

Infrastructure as Code is a methodology that allows developers to manage and provision cloud resources through code rather than manual processes, providing benefits such as version control, repeatability, and automation. The support for multiple IaC frameworks gives developers flexibility in choosing their preferred tooling for deploying Bedrock AgentCore-based AI agents.

The announcement did not specify a release date or provide additional details about specific capabilities or limitations of the IaC integration.
