According to MIT Technology Review, AI entrepreneur Danijar Hafner is developing artificial intelligence agents designed to plan ahead for unexpected situations at his new startup in San Francisco’s SoMa district. The company is currently operating in stealth mode and does not yet have its name displayed on the door.
The startup’s office remains largely unfurnished and sparsely populated. When MIT Technology Review visited, only one other person was present in the space, reflecting the early-stage nature of the venture. Despite the minimal physical setup, Hafner is focused on advancing AI capabilities in anticipatory planning.
The report notes that while the office may lack in decor and staffing, the company is working on developing agents with enhanced planning capabilities. However, specific technical details about the agents’ functionality or the startup’s timeline remain undisclosed given its stealth status.
